Solar-Driven Water Treatment: New Technologies, Challenges, and Futures

نویسندگان

چکیده

In this review, the new solar water treatment technologies, including desalination in two direct and indirect methods, are comprehensively presented. Recent advances applications of five major technologies include solar-powered humidification–dehumidification, multi-stage flash desalination, multi-effect RO, stills. Each technology’s productivity, energy consumption, production costs Also, common methods disinfection have been reviewed as one low-cost treatment, especially areas with no access to drinking water. However, although many social, economic, public health benefits, they energy-intensive negatively affect environment. addition, disposal brine from processes is most challenging costly issues. regard, environmental effects presented discussed. Among still technology a low-cost, low-tech, low-investment method suitable for remote areas, developing countries low financial support skilled workers. Indirect solar-driven thermal membrane more reliable technically mature. Recently, RO has received particular attention thanks its lower demand, cost, available solutions increase durability. Disposal brines can account much cost potentially Therefore, addition efforts improve efficiency reduce processes, future research studies should consider issue.

Challenges and New Treatment in Childhood Constipation

Chronic Constipation is a debilitating condition that is often associated with different abdominal problem. It can cause distress for the child and family and can result in emotional disturbance and family problem. Based on the current algorhytm, the treatment of chronic constipation consists of 4 important phases, 1: education, 2: disimpaction, 3: prevention of re-accumulation of feces and 4: ...

Light-driven water oxidation for solar fuels.

Light-driven water oxidation is an essential step for conversion of sunlight into storable chemical fuels. Fujishima and Honda reported the first example of photoelectrochemical water oxidation in 1972. In their system, TiO2 was irradiated with ultraviolet light, producing oxygen at the anode and hydrogen at a platinum cathode. Inspired by this system, more recent work has focused on functional...
